A reader for up to five columns from a .fio file. If more than five columns are needed, one has to use more than one FioReader in parallel. If a file from the sequence is still missing (e.g. in online use), the plugin waits until it is accessible.

Parameters

  • Path: The absolute path to one file from the sequence, possibly using '#' char to mark the sequence numbers.
    • If at least one block of one or several consecutive # is given, replace the last of such blocks with the sequence numbers using at least as many digits - using leading zeros - as #, e.g.
      • "/path/to/file_00110_#r.fio": ..., "/path/to/file_00110_9r.fio", "/path/to/file_00110_10r.fio", ...
      • "/path/to/file_#####_00001.fio": ..., "/path/to/file_00099_00001.fio", "/path/to/file_00100_00001.fio", ...
      • "/path/to/file_#####_##.fio": ..., "/path/to/file_#####_09.fio", "/path/to/file_#####_10.fio", ..., "/path/to/file_#####_100.fio", ...
    • If no # is given, look for blocks of consecutive digits, starting from the back. First, a block with at least five digits is searched for, then one with at least four, then three, etc. The first block found is replaced - using leading zeros - with the sequence numbers, e.g.
      • "/path/to/file_00110.fio": ..., "/path/to/file_00099.fio", "/path/to/file_00100.fio", ...
      • "/path/to/file_00_10.fio": ..., "/path/to/file_00_99.fio", "/path/to/file_00_100.fio", ...
  • Sequence (optional): Which files to read out of the sequence defined by Path
    • "10": reads only the file with sequence number 10
    • "0-": reads all files from sequence number 0 until the last file of the sequence (maximum is 99999)
    • "0-:5": same as above but reads only every fifth file (0, 5, 10, ...)
    • "10-100": reads the files from number 10 to number 100
    • "10-100:10": same as above but reads only every 10s file (10, 20, ..., 100)
    • You can combine any option by using ";" as separation. (e.g. "10;20;30;40;100-1000:10;1010-")
    • It is possible to use input ranges from high to low numbers (e.g. '100-10') to read a sequence reversed.
    • Also negative steps can be used (e.g. '100-;-10' reads 100, 90, 80, ..., 10, 0)
    • Leave empty to read the file in Path again and again without stopping.
  • Column x: Either the name or the number (counting from the left and starting with 1) of the column whose data should be output x. If empty, the respective output is an empty array.
  • Column y1 (optional): As for Column x, but defining output y1.
  • Column y2 (optional): ... defining output y2.
  • Column y3 (optional): ... defining output y3.
  • Column y4 (optional): ... defining output y4.
